APUJAN presents Autumn/Winter 2016 collection “ Lingeringly” with a further exploration in the emotion of time, places, people and the fragility of memories.
The collection adopts unique techniques through combining different knits and pattern as well as woven jacquard to illustrate the theme of “Lingeringly”. A perfectly composed pattern of roses, hourglasses, and clocks cleverly suggest the central theme on the passage of time, and the beauty of all things in its wake.
A total of 36 outfits comprise of coats, cardigans, sweaters, gowns, scarves, hats, and low-cut booties to complete the full look. The brand’s iconic oriental silhouette brings back elegant Mandarin collars; off-shoulder and softly pleated knit dresses create a sense of grace, movement and comfort. Cable patterns, rib knits and fully fashioned garments constructed with knitting machines offer a range of textures and weights in cotton, merino wool, cashmere, and silk. Long scarves and knitted hats are styled casually to suggest perhaps a passing motion!
